Freelance Salesforce administrator and consultant for charities and non-profits

Penny Rodie

I’m Penny, a 4 x certified Salesforce professional with over 5 years experience in the charity sector.

I learnt Salesforce by accident when a previous employer undertook a big systems overhaul. Having sworn I ‘wasn’t a techy person’, I discovered an unexpected passion!

Whether it’s tracking your fundraising pipeline, recording a beneficiary’s journey or wanting to demonstrate your impact, I understand the needs of non profit organisations and can work with you to make sure that you get the best out of your technology.

Penny is an absolute asset…very knowledgeable, hard working, reliable…friendly yet professional Salesforce enthusiast who will go the extra mile!

How I can help you:

Scoping a new system

Perhaps your existing systems aren’t working for you- you may have lots of spreadsheets tracking your work, with staff having to spend valuable time on data entry. I can work with you to develop a full system specification so that you’re ready to proceed with your build, with or without me.

Building a new database

I can build you a tailor-made system, including: automation, integration with other tools you might use (such as accounting software, online forms, e-signature software or your inbox and calendar), reports and dashboards, different views and permissions for different users.

System admin support

You may not have an in-house Salesforce administrator and would like someone to provide regular support to users. Or maybe you have an ‘accidental Salesforce admin’ (like me!) who wants to escalate something that they’re having trouble resolving themselves. I’d be happy to work with you on a one-off or ongoing basis.

Developments to an existing system

Do you have an existing Salesforce database that you’d like to improve? I can come on board to build, test and deploy the improvements. I can also provide documentation and training.
